![]() ![]() I wonder if ACC is worth buying or if I should just buy AC and use mods ( before reading anything I wrote now, it all obviously is my opinion on these simulators) Originally posted by EF_Neo1st:Most multiplayer action is at Monza, Spa or Nurb/Bathrust/Hungaroging., with GT3, all base content. I wonder if ACC is worth buying or if I should just buy AC and use mods I've only played gran turismo 4 on PS2 previously with the wheel lol Ive got a wheel and pedals, been playing project cars 2 as my first modern sim game. Online races also have damage on, tyre wear and brake temperature so, every collision, slide, drift, hardbraking, hardbraking through turns, spin, walk on dirt/grass/dirty-tarmac will affect your car handling/driveability. Hardbraking also lock tyres and wont allow you to turn at all.ĪCC have tyre deformation, weather, day/night cycle, track and tyre temperature and other things that affect how you setup your car and drive. It is possible to use a gamepad and be fast, I know very fast drivers that are about the same pace as me (some 4s from WR) and I already met guys that can go 1s from WR with gamepad, but it is no easy feat as simracing demand precision and smoothness from the driver, where you cant just hardbrake through turns (because you will either understeer or oversteer, this if you dont end up blowing up your tyres after too much hardbraking while turning and going sideways), do drifts all over the place (because you will wear off your tyres), Use too much throttle while turning (because you will either spin or understeer and go offtrack), go out of the rubbered parts of the track and expect to have a good grip (you will often be driving at dirt tarmac and wont have the same grip to do the turn). Most multiplayer action is at Monza, Spa or Nurb/Bathrust/Hungaroging., with GT3, all base content.ītw, as I cant see what games you have or not and dont know if you are already into simracing or not, ACC is a racing simulator where physics is simulated more serious than games like GRID, GT Sport and Forza Motorsport. I will also get project cars 2 and Dirt Rally 2.0 will probally be my main single player game.īut Im also looking for a decent racing game with multiplayer. I can pick up the latest version for 20 euros and the previous version for around 5. Well I'm looking for some multiplayer action, I've got a PC capable of running the latest version of the game, what do you suggest I do? However the AI is not good so if you plan to do mostly single player races you will eventually start noticing. Every thing you could ever need to completely transform the game to what ever you like. cars, skins, tracks, custom launcher etc. The first assetto corsa has more than 14000 3d party mods. No you don't need to buy any DLC unless you later want some additional track or cars.Īssetto corsa competizione needs a powerful PC if you want decent FPS and there is little 3d party mods available. For some reason I just don't feel it with AC, there are many other examples but hard to describe. When you hit the brakes hard in other titles as an example you 'feel' the force throwing you forward and the impact of it when the FFB kicks in when you try to get back on the power and the weight transfers. ![]() The reason I can't stand playing AC is it feels dull and muted compared to other titles, you don't feel the car and the force and how it moves around violently and such on the track, I am talking about visually on screen not the FFB in the wheel. I would skip AC unless you really want mods and such and try stuff freely downloadable for novelty and leisure. ![]() Or do you think I should get the latest version? So when you pick a server you are picking the track, in my opinion the split between DLC and Original servers are pretty similar in that 3:1 ratio, so you are fine.ĭo you think its work getting Assetto Corsa ?
